Practice Counting Money

All of the first grade students would benefit from additional practice counting sets of coins. You can help your child practice the concept of money by having him/her identify the name of each coin and its value, practice counting sets of coins, and display a stated value. The concept of money is a more challenging concept to grasp and it is quite abstract to first grade students. Please take a few minutes in the evening to practice this skill with your child.
