We are creating a new ending to our story this week. The students will be creating illustrations similar to the illustrations in our story,
What Does Pig Do? The first grade students should create a detailed picture that will resemble a background. The students will be modeling a "pig" out of clay to place on top of their picture. At the end of the story, Pig naps on Sunday. The students can choose an activity for Pig to do instead of napping. An example...your child wishes for Pig to go to McDonalds for lunch. Your child should create a detailed picture (background) that would resemble the clay pig going to McDonalds. This art activity will also become a writing activity. Here are some things to keep in mind...
*The entire paper should be colored representing a background for Pig.
*No Scribble Scrabble...be proud of your work!
*Don't draw a picture of "Pig"...your Pig will be created out of clay.
*
Return your picture on tomorrow (Thursday)
