Christmas Talk

Since I have been posting all about the special Christmas activities that we will be completing over the next few weeks, I thought I would take a moment and post about a special Christmas request that I have.  Please DO NOT buy any personal gifts for the teacher (meaning...me).  I absolutely LOVE my job!  I could not imagine walking into a classroom everyday where I'm not greeted with smiling faces and hugs, over the top stories, and feeling the way I do when I get to spend a day in first grade.  I LOVE what I do and not many people can say that, so I feel very blessed!  I am grateful and honored that I get to be part of your child's life.  However, as many times as I make this request, many parents still want to give and I appreciate that.  So, in the spirit of giving...if you would like to purchase a classroom gift for all of the students to use and share that would be great.  Here are a few ideas...Play-Doh, games, stickers, crayons (I know, but a fresh box of 24+ crayons is a HUGE deal in our classroom), gift cards to purchase items for the classroom.  Again, please DO NOT purchase any items for me, thank you so kindly!
