Just a reminder that as a school wide project and in the spirit of giving, the first grade level has chosen our local United Way agency as the charity of choice. Instead of purchasing gifts for a classroom gift exchange, we are requesting that each family make a small monetary donation to the United Way. Please feel free to send in a small donation in an envelope marked "United Way." The students will present the grade level donations to a United Way representative on Wednesday, December 19th.
Also, in keeping with the holiday spirit, please do not buy personal gifts for me. I am grateful for the time that I have with your children and I consider myself very lucky to be part of your child's education. I smile all day and it is because of your children.
