Dear First Grade Students & Parent(s),
As of Monday, September 20th, classroom 103 will be a Silly Bandz-free classroom. I understand that Silly Bandz are a cool fashion statement these days, however many students in the classroom have to be reminded several times during the day to stop playing with them during instruction time, take them out of their mouth, and take the wrist size bracelet off of their neck. I have found myself becoming the mediator between students that trade bracelets and then wish to have their bracelet(s) returned. I hope that you understand my reasoning for making our classroom a Silly Bandz-free classroom. If you have any questions or comments regarding this issue, please speak to me first.
