Christmas came early in classroom 103...Our classroom recently received 6 mini iPads through a grant from the Keystone School District Education Foundation (KSDEF). We use the iPads each day for multiple learning opportunities. The students have been learning how to use educational apps in reading and math. The students are SO very excited to get their hands on the iPads throughout the day. We have recently started the Accelerated Reader (AR) program. The students are able to utilize the iPad to take an AR quiz based on the AR book that they have read. I have witnessed a HUGE boost in reading motivation and story comprehension due to utilizing the iPads. Check back often to our classroom blog as we document our learning through our iPads.
